630 (17-4) Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steel is martensite precipitation-hardened stainless steel.630 stainless steel  performance characteristic is easy to adjust the strength level, can be  adjusted by changes in heat treatment process.

Martensite phase  transformation and aging treatment of metal forming precipitation hardening  phase is the main reinforcement method, 630 stainless steel attenuation  performance is good, strong corrosion fatigue resistance and water resistance.

630 stainless  steel is precipitated, hardened, martensitic stainless steel.630 stainless  steel is composed of copper, niobium/columbium deposit, hardening, martensitic  stainless steel. This level is of high strength and hardness (up to  300&ordm).C / 572 & ordm; F) and anti-corrosion properties.

Product Description

630 Stainless Steel Characteristics:
 630 stainless  steel is precipitate, quench water, martensite stainless steel, and this grade  has high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance characteristics.

After heat  treatment, the mechanical properties of the products are improved, and the  pressure strength can reach up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi).This level cannot  be used for higher than 300 ℃ (570 f) or very low temperatures, in the atmosphere and dilute acid  or its salt has good corrosion resistant ability of metal. It has the corrosion  resistance of 304 and 430.

The delivery status: generally  delivered in heat treatment state, and its heat treatment type is indicated in  the contract; Unmarked, delivery in non-heat treatment state.

Technology for heating processing:
 1)solid solution  1020～1060℃ fast cooling;
 2)480℃ aging, after solution treatment,470～490℃ air cooling;
 3)550℃ aging, after solution treatment, 540～560℃ air cooling;
 4)580℃ aging, after solution treatment,570～590℃ air cooling;
 5)620℃aging, after solution treatment,610～630℃ air cooling。

Metallographic structure: the tissue characteristic is precipitation hardening type.
